Partial and Total Knee Replacement in Delhi

Dr. Vibhore Singhal is a well-known orthopedic surgeon who achieved his medical training from a well-regarded University College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi.

He completed his training as a specialized medical professional in the field of hip and knee replacement in Delhi and thus, he went to Singapore General Hospital for advancing hands-on fellowship in the field of joint replacement. He has also completed his advanced training in Shoulder arthroscopy and replacement surgery from Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, NHS, U.K. At present Dr. Singhal is associated as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Columbia Asia Hospital, Palam Vihar, Gurugram, India. He holds an experience in the medical fields for more than 14 years and had successfully performed more than 5000 major orthopedic surgeries till the date.

Partial knee replacement – Basically, the surgery is performed to replace only a damaged part of the knee. The damaged part can either be medial (inside), lateral (outside), or the kneecap. Therefore, the damaged tissue and/or bone of the knee are removed and are replaced with the artificial implant during the surgery. The replaced area is called as a prosthetic. We also describe partial knee replacement in Delhi with their alternative terms such as Unicondylar knee replacement, Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, Arthroplasty - Unicompartmental knee, minimally invasive partial knee replacement, Knee replacement – partial, and UKA.

Total knee replacement – Total knee replacement is a surgical procedure where the entire surface of the damaged knees is replaced with artificial knees made up of metal and plastics that are used to cap the ends of the bones forming knee joints. Based on his 14 years of experience, Dr. Singhal has performed numerous surgeries of total knee replacement in Delhi and has changed the life of so many patients in a very positive manner. Patient having severe arthritis or knee injury can hinder them to perform their routine activities actively; therefore, a surgery can diagnose the problem for a long run when all the other medication and exercises have failed to show good results.
